Back in February my buddy Greg was staying on Coppola’s vineyard, playing bongos with Val Kilmer* and talking about getting in on this project. In the end he wasn’t able to get involved, he is too busy touring through Europe for which my pity for him is never ending, but he said this was going to be awesome and, yes, it looks like it.
*also: discussing The Saint II. And the politics of Terminator II. That’s the good kind of text message to get when you ask “How’s California?”
